Trudeau’s #UnjustTransition Will Punish Oil + Gas Producing Provinces like Alberta + Saskatchewan

Gary Mar (Canada West Foundation CEO) recently gave important testimony at our Senate’s Energy and Environment Committee. Here is my exchange with him, as we discuss how Canadians from oil and gas producing provinces (like Alberta and Saskatchewan) are much less supportive of the Trudeau Government’s #UnjustTransition plan. The projected impacts of such a rapid transition would be staggering to these regions. Meanwhile, Mr. Mar tells us that last year alone, China approved a new coal plant every 2-3 DAYS!
