Will Indigenous Peoples suffer economically under Justin Trudeau’s #UnjustTransition to a radical, post-oil-and-gas future?

I asked this question to Indigenous witnesses at our Senate Energy and Environment Committee. Their answer: YES. We need to get rid of the Indian Act, have equal economic opportunities, and NOT shut down the well-paying resource sector jobs Indigenous Peoples are obtaining in Canada’s strong oil and gas sector.
