Trudeau was warned about unconstitutionality of reverse disclosure
At the Senate’s Legal Committee, Senator Denise Batters asks experienced Ottawa criminal defence lawyer Michael Spratt about the potentially unconstitutional changes being made by the Trudeau government to the Criminal Code in the new reverse disclosure requirements in Bill C-51 for sexual assault cases. Senator Batters also asks Spratt about the significant impacts on criminal court delays that could result from these Trudeau government changes.
