Trudeau Government’s Bill C-28 Consultations A “Sham”

The Trudeau government rushed Bill C-28 through Parliament last June, a bill which responded to a legislative gap left by the Supreme Court of Canada’s recent ruling on the extreme intoxication defence. The government did rushed consultations that one women’s group called a “sham” – only three days before the bill was tabled in Parliament!
