Trudeau Government Fails Canada on Suicide Prevention

The Trudeau government has done precious little for suicide prevention in the 6.5 years they’ve been in power.

The Conservative Government created a Federal Framework for Suicide Prevention in 2012. The Trudeau Government failed to finish implementing it when it became the government in 2015. Instead, the Liberals legalized marijuana (which has detrimental effects on mental health) and extended assisted suicide to include people suffering with mental illness as a sole underlying condition.
