Trudeau Government Censors their Censorship Bill C-11 Debate: to Distract from Scandals?

The Trudeau Government invoked “time allocation” to cut debate short on Bill C-11, the online streaming act. After not using the “guillotine” in the Senate for 7.5 years, they used it to censor a censorship bill!

Why now? Could it be to distract from their many scandals – like Beijing election interference and the Trudeau Foundation, the Prime Minister’s $9000-a-night luxury beach villas — or the fact that they’re facing the largest public service strike in Canada’s history?
