Tourist refused entry to Senate while wearing pro-Cdn Oil & Gas T-shirt
Over the Labour Day weekend, William Lacey from Alberta came to tour the Senate of Canada Building. When he arrived, Senate security refused him entry because he was wearing an “I ❤️Canadian Oil & Gas” T-shirt. He says they told him some may find his shirt “offensive”.

Conservative Senators David Tkachuk, Denise Batters (the Committee’s Deputy Chair) and Don Plett insist on answers and quick action from the Senate’s Director of Corporate Security in this video clip.
