Senate Internal Economy Committee exhibits “stunningly bad governance”: Senator Batters

From mid-August (when PM Trudeau prorogued Parliament) until early November, the Senate’s Internal Economy Committee held six meetings solely by Zoom, approving the expenditure of millions of dollars of taxpayers’ money. In Senate Question Period, I challenged the Chair of the Internal Economy Committee about his lack of proper authority to hold those six meetings only by videoconference.

WATCH as I question the Chair of CIBA, Trudeau-appointed “Independent” Senator Sabi Marwah on this “stunningly bad governance”.
