Give Mentally Ill People Help and Hope, Not Easier Access to Death (Press Conference)

The Trudeau Government is extending assisted suicide to the mentally ill – they’re just going to delay it for one year to try to “sell” the idea to Canadians. Mental illness is treatable. We must give people enduring psychological suffering help and hope, not an easier way to die. Yesterday, I spoke about this crucial issue at a press conference held on Parliament Hill with CPC Leader Pierre Poilievre, in support of a bill from our colleague, MP Ed Fast, that proposes the reversal of this awful Liberal law.
