Senator Denise Batters delivered a speech in the Senate Chamber to support an amendment on Bill C-45, seeking to delay its implication so that Canada can be properly prepared for the Canada-US border implications of marijuana legalization.
She addresses what the Trudeau government still isn’t telling Canadians about these significant border implications with our neighbour and largest trading partner. A few signs at the border is not the “more robust” messaging campaign the United States has recommended to the Trudeau government for months.
