Senate Government Leader: “Environmental Racism” Important, Government Bills Aren’t
The Trudeau Government’s Senate Leader rarely gives speeches on government legislation in the Senate. (So, there is no opportunity for Senators to question him about those bills.) Yet, this week, he chose to give a Government speech on an MP’s Private Member’s Bill on “environmental racism”. (This was Sen. Gold’s only Senate Chamber speech this week.) I asked him why. He said: “this is a bill the Government believes is important.” And answers on a $4.5 Billion Government Bill… isn’t?
