#TrudeauTransparency Strikes Again

The Trudeau Government has a bad habit of keeping Canadians in the dark about their legislative consultations. For Bill S-11, a 600-clause bill harmonizing federal and civil law, the government did consultations in 2017, but haven’t published a list of stakeholders, nor a list of the concerns raised and whether they were addressed in the legislation. Now, after FIVE years, they’ve introduced the bill and are rushing it through Parliament so fast we don’t even have time to hear from other witnesses at Senate Legal committee!
