Memories of Parliament’s Centre Block

Senator Denise Batters relays her memories of Parliament Hill’s beautiful, historic Centre Block. The last name Batters merits mention in three places in Centre Block: the House of Commons, the Memorial Chamber and the Senate. Centre Block will now be closed for significant renovations, which will take more than a decade.
